Patricia worked at NBC-10 in various positions over the years she was employed with the network. She began on the News Assignment Desk in the hub of fast-paced news coverage. Patricia then worked in the planning department of NBC-10. With thousands of press releases coming across her desk, quick decisions had to be made about where to send news crews. As a Field Producer at NBC-10, among other assignments, Patricia covered Federal Court Trials, including several RICO murder conspiracy cases, which involved months of testimony and court proceedings.
Patricia then transitioned up to New York City where she worked as Senior Correspondent and Senior Writer/Producer of the James Lovell’s Executive Forum Show. The show centered around Astronaut James Lovell’s interaction with Fortune 500 company executives. She spent several years interviewing executives at the top of their field in the areas of technology, aeronautics, business, banking, inventions, environmental groups and investment.
Patricia’s career then brought her to Banyan Productions in Philadelphia, where she worked for seven seasons on Birth Day, a show that aired on Discovery Health Channel. Each thirty minute program documented the journey of parents through the labor and delivery of their babies. She spent months on-call at hospitals throughout the country, including Pennsylvania Hospital, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Bryn Mawr Birthing Center, Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, NJ, and Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. While producing the show, Patricia created an hour primetime special called, Quad Squad, featuring the birth of quadruplets, which followed a family through a harrowing delivery and months of the children’s lives in California.
Patricia drew upon her vast experience in the field of media to start her own business, Writing 4 Purpose, LLC, now named Envision Creative Media.
